The RRTA is a non-profit tennis club which has been active in Round Rock, Texas for many years. Staffed by volunteer officers elected from the membership, the Association attempts to provide convenient and inexpensive tennis leagues for residents of Round Rock and nearby communities.

We have several doubles leagues and a singles ladder. For the doubles we attempt to secure a block of reserved courts so that you will not only be playing tennis, you can also meet and socialize with the other members of the entire league.

The RRTA uses the revenue from annual and seasonal memberships to pay the doubles league court fees (sometimes substantial) and provides the tennis balls. The revenue is also used to fund various events throughout the year, including mixers and the annual Christmas party.

Round Rock has constructed a group of 12 very nice lighted courts at the new recreation complex in Old Settler's Park. The RRTA has obtained an arrangement with the city which allows us to use these courts for our league doubles play in exchange for a seasonal fee based on the number of hours we use the lights. We contributed about $10,000 to the city toward the purchase of wind screens and have offered funds to partially offset the expense of the newly installed benches.
