The Round Rock Rumblers 3.5 men's U.S. Tennis Association team won the Texas adult sectionals July 31-Aug. 2 in Dallas. The team advanced to nationals in Tucson, Ariz., from Oct. 16-18.

The Rumblers faced six teams from Texas to win the title. They defeated Midland (5-0), Lubbock (4-1), North Houston (5-0) and Ft. Worth (4-1) in round-robin play before beating San Angelo (3-2) in the semifinals and North East Texas (3-2) in the finals.

The team also went 9-0 in league play and won the City of Austin Championship.
