Please join us for our Summer Mixer on Saturday, June 2nd at 6:00 pm at the Old Settlers Park tennis courts.
Round Rock Tennis Association will provide light snacks, drinks and balls so come out and bring your rackets and your chairs! Enjoy some fun, informal, social tennis. Open to everyone (18 & over), not just RRTA members.
Summer league registration is now open.
Summer registration will close at 11:59pm May 26.
Summer league begins June 4 and ends August 31 (No play July 2-6).
RRTA Online Registration has changed to a new service provided by Active.com. Please be aware this will be a completely new environment from the past online registration form.
A couple of features to look out for:
- Shopping cart for multiple league registrations
- Both MIXED leagues have changed to a TEAM registration
PAY one team fee and you will need your partner’s name and email address to complete the form.
- Pay your league fees only at any time (not just during league registration)
As a board, we’ve worked hard to find an inexpensive, flexible solution that offers us the features and resources we need. The process will be different than what we have used in the past so please be aware and do pay close attention to what you are doing during the registration process.
For more specific instructions and information, please read the email pasted below that was sent out May 15.
Hey tennis fans!
If you want to play in the RRTA summer league please read this note in its entirety!!!
We have some good news for you! We’ve gone to a new registration system (it’s the same one we used for the RRTA tourney earlier this month). The registration site will be active beginning May 19, 8am. Spots sometimes fill up very quickly so if you would like to ensure a spot, please register close to 8am. You will be able to reach the registration through www.rrtennis.com as in prior years. Click on the “Register Now” Button to register for leagues and/or pay membership fees. NOTE: The “Log In To Team Pages” is for the webmasters only.
A key difference between this season and prior seasons – for Mixed doubles leagues only (Wednesday night and Thursday night) you MUST pay for BOTH partners at the same time. The price per person is still $28 but since you’re paying for 2 people, you will pay $56. Only one person should sign up both partners – please coordinate with your partner prior to Saturday morning! You will also need your partner’s phone number and email address, as these are mandatory fields.
Since this new site is more of an online commerce solution, you’ll see your leagues in a “shopping cart” format. Once you’ve chosen the leagues you want, you will “check out” and provide your info and credit card payment details. This will allow you to create an account. Also, in order to avoid large development costs, the company who hosts the site will charge a small fee for each transaction. At the end of checkout, please decline the “Active Advantage Membership Offer Billing”. Your order will still go through.
Note regarding annual dues – if you played in spring season, then you’ve already paid your annual dues. Otherwise, you’ll also need to select the “pay annual dues” when signing up (either $20 for individual or $30 for family). Annual dues are required to play in any league.
As a board, we’ve worked hard to find an inexpensive, flexible solution that offers us the features and resources we need. But it is different than what we have used in the past so please be aware and do pay close attention to what you are doing during the registration process.
